Scheduling & Payment Policies

These policies keep sessions reliable for everyone. By booking a session, you agree to the terms below.

1. 1

   24-hour cancellation policy

   Cancellations or reschedule requests must be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled start time. A session cancelled within 24 hours of its start time or a rescheduling request made inside that window is charged the full session rate.

   No-shows

   If a student does not attend a scheduled session and does not give notice, the full session rate is charged. The tutor will wait 15 minutes from the start time before marking the session a no-show.

   Late arrivals

   Sessions begin and end at their scheduled times. If a student arrives late, the session still ends as scheduled and is billed for the full booked duration. If the tutor is late, the missed time is added to the end of the session or credited to a future session.

   Payment timing

   Payment is due at the end of each session unless another arrangement has been agreed to in advance. Accepted methods are Zelle, Venmo, or cash.

   Rescheduling

   Sessions may be rescheduled at no cost with at least 24 hours' notice, subject to availability. Each standing weekly slot may be rescheduled without penalty up to twice per month.

6. 6

   Drive-to-you sessions

   The drive-to-you rate covers travel within Clear Lake, Dickinson, Seabrook, Friendswood, and League City. Locations outside this area may be quoted a higher rate. If no one is home at the scheduled time, the visit is treated as a no-show and billed in full, including travel.

7. 7

   Respectful environment

   The tutor may end a session early if the student or others present are abusive, unsafe, or repeatedly disruptive. Ongoing scheduled sessions may be discontinued with notice.

Exceptions for genuine emergencies, sudden illness, or family emergencies are handled case by case at the tutor's discretion.
