Perimeter and Area Formulas

ShapePerimeterArea
RectangleP = 2l + 2wA = l × w
SquareP = 4sA = s²
TriangleP = a + b + cA = ½ × b × h
CircleC = 2πrA = πr²

l = length, w = width, s = side, b = base, h = height, r = radius. Perimeter is the distance around; area is the space inside, measured in square units.
